  • Explanation of patient's desires to the lab

  • Bite registration of prepped teeth
  • Implants required: Y or N
  • All implant parts provided: Y or N
  • Type of restoration

Lab Steps:

  • Create models
  • Design wax-up
  • Review wax-up with patient and doctor
  • Create temporaries based on approved design
  • Order implant parts if needed

Doctor's Steps After Seating Temporaries:

  • Discuss temporaries with patient
  • Provide patient feedback to lab
  • Take new bite registration for lab

Lab Creates Restoration:

  • Feedback from doctor provided to lab technician
  • Modifications to the smile made before final manufacturing
  • Doctor review or changes (if needed)
  • Make restorations based on input from all
  • Send photos of restorations to doctor before shipping case
  • Doctor seats the restorations
  • Doctor to note any needed adjustments for lab feedback
  • Doctor to provide before-and-after photos of the smile showing restoration
